Filmed over a year, The Nurture Room follows three Glasgow primary school children on an incredible journey that will completely transform their lives. Nurture Rooms offer a bridge between home and school: a safe place where children can be children. In these small, special classrooms children can re-visit early ‘nurturing’ experiences that they missed or didn’t get at home.
Truly inspiring work from these teachers! I hope their nurturing concept can be adapted into all schools in the UK. These women were wonderfully intuitive to the children’s needs, and their rules of being firm but never getting angry, patience and lots of praise was so amazingly effective! There was so much love and kindness from these teachers, this documentary should be shown to all teachers. Brilliant and powerful!

Embrace the flow and allow the prana to guide you.
Prana: “life-force of creation”
Flow: the state of unified consciousness
I love yoga! I try to do it three times a week if I can. Im a busy working mum of two under fives and I’m sure plenty of people can relate to having no time for themselves anymore. Yoga is my gift to myself , I can get so much out of it. Before I had the girls I guess I was focused on the physical benefits, I’m still at beginner level but done consistently the pay off is rewarding, for just doing a few bends and stretches it can keep you toned and improve posture significantly. Now I find taking the time out to do my yoga can energise as well as relax me, it can improve my mood and helps me to feel confident. Yoga has awakened me spiritually and helped me to get back in touch with myself, which im sure many mothers lose in the daily chaos. I recommend ‘Yoga Shakti’ with Shiva Rae, she is amazing, the music and beautiful scenery are inspiring, magic!

“We pray to God hoping for
a change,
not knowing that we earned
where we are.
Change does not come
before it is due date.
To get “there,” we have to
be “here,” first.
We are all on the
razor’s edge.
The long run has
no short-cuts.
There are no short-cuts
to God,
every cut warrants a deeper
knowledge into your Soul.”
